Walking in a "vinter" wonderland!
Kjære familie og venner,
This week we started Light the World! It is a great way to serve others during the Christmas season.
Vinterland Julemarked. We went ice skating in Oslo on P-day. They set up a Christmas market each year and have booths with elg burgers (moose hamburgers), julegløgg (kind of like grape wassail), and everything Norwegian to do with Christmas!
Ni Chum came to church! His first time there. He hit it off with some of the YSA and felt the Spirit for sure! He loved learned about eternal families from Gospel Principles. We taught Gospel Principles Sunday School class and I gave a talk in Primary about Jesus Christ. I testified that He came once, and He'll come again someday. One of my favorite Primary songs is "I wonder when He comes again".
Jul i Toner. The Oslo stake puts on a Christmas concert each year called Jul i Toner. Søster Madsen played violin in the orchestra. The picture of Søster Madsen and I in front of the Christmas tree was after Jul i Toner. It was a great opportunity for members to invite their friends. We met a lot of people!
Splits in Drammen. Søster Burkman and I attended the Relief Society activity and met some really cool members! They are excellent at thinking about ways to share the Gospel and fulfilling their ministering assignments.

The attached picture is with the youth of the ward! We wrote our testimonies in copies of the Book of Mormon and wrapped them for Young Women's!
