Asker!

Highlights from this week!

• Moving to Asker! We are whitewashing the area, so we're having fun getting to know the area. Whitewashing is when both companions are new the area, so we're figuring out how to work with the ward.

• The Book of Mormon Musical. Giving out copies of the Book of Mormon at the Book of Mormon musical in Oslo. We gave out 210 copies on Wednesday night!

• Dame dag. That means "Lady Day"! At the volunteer center in Asker, we help make and serve food to refugees. It's a time for women to come get language help, help repairing their clothing, and eating a simple lunch. We made different pålegg for them. Pålegg is all the different condiments to make open-faced sandwiches. For example, we made egg salad, makrell in tomato sauce (consistency of tuna salad on bread) and fish pudding. Fish pudding is not like what it sounds. It is slices of a fish mixture that gets fried and put on top of the bread. Pretty good!

• Working with members. It is so wonderful to work with members that take initiative to magnify their callings and love working with us!
