Syttende Mai!

This week was fantastic! The 17 of May was absolutely amazing! Everyone in bunads and smiling. How blessed we are to be in Norway!

We had a lesson with E. and M. and taught them the Plan of Salvation. M. told us that she always believed there was two places in the Spirit World. She had learned that in a dream she had. She had never read it anywhere until we taught her on Tuesday! It is another testament to me of the truthfulness of the Plan of Salvation. Heavenly Father is so merciful and kind. He is doing everything He can to help all His children accept His Gospel. H. and V., are their fellowshippers. They are incredible. They visit E. and M. throughout the week, help arrange their transportation to church, and have rendered them service. I am so grateful for their example. When members are involved from step one, investigators We had an appointment with a former investigator. We taught her in the fall but contact had been lost. It was a miracle actually how it came about. We saw her come on the bus and we came off the same stop. We stopped her to say hi! She said she felt so positive and happy we stopped her! She also asked when we could come and visit. She said if it were up to her, she'd be baptized, but her husband is not interested in the Church. She asked us to keep in touch, send her scripture texts, and invite her to activities. She really appreciates the missionaries as she said, "I know I can always turn to the missionaries!" In reference to the prophet's call to be ministers to our brothers and sisters, I've studied how I can apply his teachings. In doing so, I often ask myself: Can s/he feel the love of the Savior through me? I invite us to apply the prophet's counsel and be instruments in His Hands. Who can we serve today? I hope you had a great 17 of May! Have a great week!
